Samsung Galaxy Portal i5700 Review is about the new phone from Samsung Galaxy which is a milestone for the leading company in the field of cellular phones. It is second edition of Samsung’s Android phone. However it is quite similar to the first edition. Only some facilities have been cut, and some have been put in.
This phone doesn’t exhibit the typical beautiful look of the Samsung phones. It measures 115x57x13mm, but it is not too much massive. However it is boring to look at. Down the screen, buttons are crowded, which don’t appear nice. They are difficult to use. The red line around the OK key, too gives a distinctly cheap look. For a touchscreen phone, D-pad too is unnecessary, but you, yourself can judge that better.
On the backside, there is plastic cover made of rubberized plastic, due to which the device is comfortable to hold. The ear-phones which we get along with the handset are also nice, but you can select of our own choice as there are standard 3.5mm headphone jack and microUSB port on the top of the phone.
In place of the AMOLED display, the TFT screen have been used in this cell phone, which is more standard. But the screen is fine and it has a resolution of 320×480 which is really good considering the price of the phone. It is really bright and in fact a little more natural than that on the AMOLED screen. What’s more, it has capacitive technology which is more receptive to touch than the resistive technology.
